TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Cabinet of Ministers declared 40 days of national mourning following the martyrdom of Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

In a statement released early on Sunday, the Iranian administration confirmed the martyrdom of the leader in US-Israeli terrorist attacks.

Highlighting Imam #Khamenei’s judicious leadership for over 37 years, his bearing of the flag of Islam’s front with bravery and faith, and his leading the Muslim Ummah against Kufr and arrogance, the statement described the late Leader as the example of self-sacrifice and resistance in the contemporary era.

The administration offered condolences to Imam Zaman (AS), the noble Iranian nation, the great #Islamic Ummah and all free-thinking people of the world on this great loss.

It also declared 40 days of national mourning and 7 days of public holiday.

This major crime will not remain unanswered and those behind it will be made to regret their move, the statement went on to say.

#TEHRAN (#Tasnim) – Iran on Sunday announced that Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei was martyred in the Saturday attack by criminal US-Israeli forces.

The Iranian government on Sunday confirmed martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution was martyred following an attack by the Zionist regime and the United States on Saturday morning.

Ayatollah Khamenei led Iran and the Muslim Ummah for 37 years since the demise of the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini in 1989.

The Iranian Armed Forces have responded to the US-Israeli aggression by launching massive missile and drone strikes on Israeli-occupied territories and American bases in the region.
